Why I started Aspire Higher!
I believe leadership is for everyone—not just a select few. After 20+ years of working with individuals, teams, and organizations in high-pressure environments, I’ve seen firsthand the transformative power of effective leadership. The most successful teams I’ve been part of were those committed to growth, development, and shared purpose. Everyone deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential.
I started my own company due to seeing the loss of the human spirit and compassion for one another at work and in our personal lives. Societal norms and technology can sometimes distract us from our greatest assets: effective communication, emotional intelligence, and the ability to connect and build meaningful relationships—both personally and professionally. It is essential that we come together to collaborate for the greater good and serve as role models for future generations, families, and our communities. Let us reclaim these skills and make a positive impact on the world!
My journey also took a deeply personal turn the day my youngest son was born. Knowing he’d face bias and discrimination fueled my commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. That experience transformed my perspective—and my purpose. Through DE&I, we open minds, build empathy, and create space for all voices to thrive.
